About Dr. Patchi Malfitano

Dr. Patricia “Patchi” Malfitano is a national certified herbalist and licensed acupuncturist in New York and California. She completed her Doctoral (DACM) and Masters (MSTOM) at Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego and New York which included 4800 hours of clinical and didactical hours in Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, and Western medicine. She did external internships at New York Institute of Family Health, NYU Langone Hospital Women’s With Disabilities, and worked in a clinic specializing in orthopedics and pain management.

Patchi specializes in sports and orthopedic conditions and uses techniques such as:

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture

  • Motor points

  • Trigger point

  • Myofascial release

  • Bodywork

  • Corrective Exercises

Though pain is her area of expertise, Patchi has experience treating many other health related conditions such as women’s health, digestive disorders, stress and anxiety, insomnia, headaches, and many other conditions.
