Acupuncture: 90-minute new patient visit (€90 in Ericeira/€100 in Cascais)

The ninety-minute new patient appointment includes a detailed health history intake and physical assessment, followed by a sixty-minute acupuncture session. The session may also include tui na (bodywork), cupping, gua sha, moxabustion, electric-stim machine and corrective exercises and herbal medicine depending on individual needs. This appointment is available for new patients as the first step of their journey to optimal health and wellbeing.

Acupuncture: 90-minute follow-up visit (€90 in Ericeira/€100 in Cascais)

The ninety-minute return patient appointment is geared towards patients in pain, posture misalignment or those who want to focus on enhancing athletic performance. The session includes holistic acupuncture (just as in the 60-minute follow-up visit listed below) to support the person’s health concerns, but largely focuses on sports medicine. The treatment includes releasing acupuncture trigger points (also known as “knots”) and acupuncture motor points (specific locations on a muscle where the nerve enters and give it the energy to contract) to increase range of motion, correct postural misalignments, reduce pain, and improve muscle function. The treatment may also include tui na (bodywork), cupping, gua sha, moxabustion, corrective exercises and herbal medicine depending on individual needs.

Acupuncture: 60-minute follow-up visit (€50 in Ericeira/€60 in Cascais)

The sixty-minute acupuncture follow-up appointment is available to patients who have already completed a ninety-minute new patient visit. This appointment is for current patients looking to address their current health concerns and maintain overall wellness. Please note that cupping or tuina can be added to this session as mentioned below.

Tui Na + Cupping

Tui Na Add-on (€10)

Existing patients can add tui na to their “60-minute follow-ups visit.” Tui Na (Chinese Medical Massage) relaxes the body and realigns fascia, muscles, and tendons. It helps open the meridians and acupuncture points to ease the body into the acupuncture treatment and multiplying its effect.

Cupping Add-on (€10)

Existing patients can add cupping to their “60-minute follow-ups visit.” Read below how cupping can help.

Cupping-Only visit (€30)

Existing patients can book stand alone 30-minute cupping sessions. Cupping increases blood circulation, relieves muscular pain and tension, increases muscle recovery speed, promotes relaxation, reduces anxiety, releases toxins from the body, and improves immune system function.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal Consult: 30 minute new patient virtual visit (€50)

30-minute herbal virtual session is for patients who wish to try herbal medicine and would like to receive a customized herbal formula for their current condition. Price does not include the cost of the herbal formula.

Herbal Consult: 30 minute follow-up visit (€40)

The 30-minute herbal consult is for existing patients who wish to modify, replace or discuss herbal medicine formulas. Price does not include the cost of the prescribed herbal formula.
